Summer is official over and I couldn’t be happier. I despise the heat and everything else that summer brings along with it. Now, it’s time to bring on the cold weather, sweaters, hayrides, pumpkins, spiced candles, and let’s not forget Pumpkin Spice Lattes from Starbucks. I’m sitting here doing my happy dance as we speak. Also, fall is my favorite time to take photographs; not just of people but of nature too. This past weekend I did a little of both. Now with the back to school rush over (I haven’t had a post since September 1st), I’m making time to concentrate on my photography more. With this being said, I'm extending my August special to last all fall. Book a session now for only $50.00.
This weekend was filled with family time and art. It started with Trevor’s basketball game, date night with daddy and Mackenzie. Saturday, we spent the afternoon at the Kansas City Plaza Art Fair. The kids loved it especially Mackenzie. Trevor is the jock and Mackenzie is the artistic one. She was in heaven with exhibits and activities for kids. Sunday was spent with my parents. My weekend was perfect; it was spent with loved ones and just enjoying life.
Here are a few pictures to document my weekend.
We will start with Trevor's basketball game.
It was date night for Chris and Mackenzie. Chris asked her what she want to do and she wanted to paint flower pots and plant mums. So, daddy made his princess happy by planting flowers.

This was the highlight of Mackenzie's day. Learning how to make a clay bowl.
Our horse Misty
There is something about weeping willow trees that I'm fascinated with.
