This summer we have spent a lot of time at Oceans of Fun. On some of the rides, the employees will say “slide on” as you go down the slide. Of course, my kids are saying this all the time no matter where we are at. This past weekend, was my nephew Gaige’s birthday party at a skating rink. I was happy sitting at table taking pictures of everyone skate but Trevor kept asking me to skate with him. Finally, I put my skates on and went out for a few minutes. Trevor skated up to me laughing saying “my mom has her skate on”. Well, my “skate on” only lasted a couple of minutes and I went back to documenting Gaige’s birthday. A skating rink is one of the hardest places to take pictures. Enjoy the pictures of everyone getting their “skate on”.
