HOT would be an understatement when it comes to explaining my recent session with my nephew, Gaige. The temperature was reading 103 degrees at 7pm, however, this was the most enjoyable session I have done to date! Whenever Jennifer contacted me about his session, I was doing my happy dance! Gaige is really into Justin Bieber and wanted his pictures to look just like him, and I have wanted to do an urban setting forever. So, we headed to some of my favorite places in the city; The City Market and Riverfront Heritage Trail. I have lived in the KC area all of my life, but only recently discovered the Riverfront Heritage Trail last weekend. During the session, Gaige didn’t need much direction, which made my job easy and I love the results!
On a special note, I would like to bring your attention to a cause that has become very important to me. Over this past year, both my mom and Gaige have been diagnosed with diabetes, and we are planning to participate in the JDRF Walk to Cure for Diabetes on October 1st at the Legends. The walk will start at 8 am and all monies raised will go directly for diabetes research.
